The main themes of my watercolors and sculptures draw upon and revolve around the Naples culture and environment I was raised in. They include farms, trout streams, gardens and fruit trees, grange halls, church picnics, tractors, music, especially accordion, piano, and harmonica players. There were many people with great dispositions, filling me with encouragement and bringing the fullness of life to me. I'm honored and pleased to share these memories.

I’m lucky to have lived in the South, where I taught and got my Master’s at the University of North Carolina and in Israel. In both places I interpreted universal themes through different cultures.  My work in Israel includes Holy sites; farms; markets; sheep herders. It was thrilling to see first-hand everything I learned as a kid in Sunday School, and to be able to interpret it through my art.
