Upcycling is defined as taking discarded materials and using them in a way that upgrades or enhances their value, while keeping them out of the landfill.

I create tables and other items such as chairs, benches, planters, mirrors, and boxes from reclaimed materials like driftwood from the Melbourne Causeway, barn wood from upstate New York, and tile, marble, and granite through my work as a tile installer.
